Our lives together as a couple have always revolved around flavorful foods and satisfying beverages. If your life is anything like ours have been, then you know that the hectic pace of the contemporary world makes it difficult to communicate or share the joys and sorrows of everyday living. Dining together has always been our favorite way of communicating and sharing "quality time" together. It doesn't always have to be something fancy, but we insist that it always be interesting--and full of flavor! When we dine out, nothing impresses us more than when the owners of a restaurant take a personal interest in our satisfaction.

Those are the qualities we try to bring to our customers at Lagniappe Restaurant. We re-opened this establishment in January 1998, returning to the original menu and atmosphere that the locals remember from thirty years ago. Since that time we have completed exterior and interior renovations to remake this turn-of-the-century home into its original glory. We hope that the atmosphere will draw you naturally to an enjoyment of the flavors of Gulf Coast cuisine prepared with a French-Cajun accent.

It is not our goal to be pretentious or stuffy. It is not our goal to be the busiest restaurant in town. We operate this business as an endeavor of love and enjoyment and that is precisely why we are open only on the weekends. We want nothing more than to make your visit to Lagniappe a memorable one, filled with laughter, warmth, quality time with friends and loved ones, and food that is as unique as it is flavorful.
